First October Tri Swim Practice!

This is the time of year that swim meets are beginning to get underway, and pre-season for swimming transitions to season. Here is a practice to help that transition 🙂

WU-3×100 Fr on :20 rest

2 rounds of:

4×50 as 25 catchup freestyle/25 whole stroke on rest :15

100 pull on rest :15

**Focus on NOT keeping arms opposite, and instead using front arm to help balance while recovering arm catches up, both with catchup and whole stroke

Primary

2x through:

1×200 negative split on rest :30 (second 100 faster than first)

3×100 Fr on rest :20-try and match second 100 time and rhythm from the 200 above

1×100 negative split on rest :30

3×50 Fr on rest :20-try and match second 50 time and rhythm from the 200 above

Rest 1:00 between rounds

2400 + WD
