Adaptive Swimming Lessons

Excel Aquatics offers adaptive swim lessons for children with cognitive or physical challenges at our studio location in Colonie.

All of these lessons are:

• Private, 1 on 1 instruction for the duration of the class time
• Taught by instructors who have experience working with children with special needs
• Focused on working towards basic water comfort, safety and independence, while giving your child a fantastic experience in the water

Important Note on Availability & Capacity:

• Limited Studio Space: We operate in a small, specialized swim studio. While this creates a warm  environment that is great for learning, it also means that the availability for all of our programs is strictly limited.

• Staff-Driven Openings: Adaptive slot openings are directly tied to the availability of the specific staff trained for this program. At Excel, we believe that proper pairings are essential for the success of both the student and the instructor.
